PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Omar Zidan, doing business as Unthinkable ("Unthinkable," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Unthinkable mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Where the law requires consent for a specific practice (for example, access to your location), we ask for it separately in the app.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details needed to sign you in.
  • Content you create. Conversations with the AI Advisor, opportunities you save, and other inputs you provide within the app.
  • Usage data. How you interact with the Service, such as opportunities viewed, searches run, AI messages sent, and feature usage. We use this to operate features, personalize your feed, and enforce usage limits.
  • Location. If you grant permission, we use your device's approximate location solely to find businesses and opportunities near you. This is used at the time of your request and is not used to track you.
  • Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store your device's push token so we can deliver them. Disabling notifications removes the need for it, and tokens that stop working are deleted.
  • Device and technical information. Basic technical data such as device type and app version, used for security and to keep the Service working.
  • Log and network data. Our infrastructure providers process IP addresses and request logs for security and operations, and retain them for limited periods.

App Store privacy summary

The following summarizes the data categories shown on our App Store privacy label. None of this data is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not share it with data brokers.

  • Contact info (email address): linked to your account, used for sign-in and account communication.
  • Identifiers (user ID): linked to your account, used to operate the Service.
  • User content (saved opportunities, AI Advisor conversations, reports you submit): linked to your account, used for app functionality.
  • Usage data (feature interaction, screens viewed): linked to your account, used for analytics and to operate features.
  • Location (approximate): collected only when you use the nearby-opportunity finder and you grant permission; used for that feature only.
  • Purchases: your subscription status, linked to your account, used to provide paid features.

How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To rank and personalize your opportunity feed based on the categories you view and save in the app.
  • To enforce usage limits tied to your subscription tier.
  • To improve and develop new features.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security, or support requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

AI processing

When you use the AI Advisor or AI-generated explanations, the prompts and relevant context are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Google states that data submitted through its paid Gemini API is not used to train Google's models; your prompts are otherwise processed under Google's API terms. Do not share sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider.

Third-party services

We share limited information with service providers that help us run the Service:

  • Supabase. Database, authentication, and hosting of your account and content.
  • Google. Gemini (AI responses) and Places/Maps (the local opportunity finder).
  • PostHog. Product analytics to understand feature usage and improve the Service.
  • GeoNames. City population data for searched locations.
  • Apple. Processing in-app subscription purchases and delivering push notifications.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings), or by emailing us. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, saved content, AI conversations, and push tokens within 30 days; residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten. We may retain aggregated, de-identified data that cannot be linked to you, and transaction records as required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account in the app, or contact us at support@unthinkableapp.com to make a request. We will verify requests using your account email and respond within the time required by applicable law.

California residents. You may request access to, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the Service. Submit requests to support@unthinkableapp.com; we will respond within 45 days.

Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. We process your data on these legal bases: performance of our contract with you (your account, features, and purchases); our legitimate interests (security, analytics, and service improvement); your consent (location access); and compliance with legal obligations. Your data is processed in the United States; where required, our service providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers. You have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time, by contacting support@unthinkableapp.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulators as required by law, without undue delay.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email before they take effect.
